- Covid 19 T&Cs
Covid 19 Terms and Conditions
In order to undertake tuning we need to adhere carefully to the Government Guidelines on undertaking work in customers' homes. We will require the following:
- All internal doors leading to the piano need to be left open before my arrival.
- All windows in the room where the piano is located need to be left open for ventilation.
- The piano needs to be cleared of all photos and other bits so that I can dismantle the piano to undertake the tuning.
- No refreshments can be accepted at the moment.
- The room will need to be vacated before my arrival. There will be no person to person contact during the visit. Please ensure that on the day of your appointment there are no plans for any visitors to be in the house, including tradesmen.
- No pets should be allowed in the room whilst the piano is being tuned.
- I will phone from outside of your property to let you know I have arrived and I would like you to open the door and then leave for me to come in without contact with yourself.
- Payments are best made by electronic bank transfer. If this is not possible cheques can be left on the piano. No cash payments at the moment.
- I will sanitise my hands and disinfect keyboards and casework before and after tuning.
- I will wear disposable gloves and apron and have my own face mask. The piano stool and the flooring under the tool case will be covered. I will need somewhere to dispose of used coverings, wipes, apron and gloves at the end of the tuning.
- In the event that anyone in the house has any symptoms of Covid 19 or if anyone in the house has any form of illness, including sore throat or rash, the appointment should be postponed. Also if anyone in the house is contacted by Public Health to say they have been in contact with someone who has subsequently tested positive the appointment should be postponed. If there are any local outbreaks that you are aware of including in schools or workplaces please inform us so that we can wait a while before an appointment is made.
- We will phone on the day of the appointment to ensure all is well.
- Likewise if I (or any of my close contacts) develop any symptoms of a new illness the appointment will be postponed.
In the event the above Terms and Conditions are not adhered to, the tuning will not be completed but the appointment will be payable in full.
